Hawaiian Coffee
4.4 ~4,100+ reviews on Google Maps $$

Pouring 100% Kona coffee since 1996, Island Vintage Coffee has become Waikiki's most beloved morning ritual — a place where surfers, sunrise hikers, and bleary-eyed tourists line up shoulder-to-shoulder for the famous Original Acai Bowl, piled high with fresh fruit and drizzled with honey from the islands. The Royal Hawaiian Center flagship anchors the second floor above Royal Grove with a sprawling open-air lanai shaded by palms, where iced Kona macadamia nut lattes and lilikoi acai bowls land at table after table. Beyond the bowls, the menu runs deep with poke, breakfast plates, and Hawaiian-grown teas. The line moves fast, the staff is unfailingly cheerful, and the prices reflect prime Kalakaua real estate — but the bowls genuinely live up to the hype.

"Best acai bowl I've had — vibrant fresh fruit, generous drizzle of honey, and a base that's super refreshing with no added sugar. We came back three mornings in a row."
