Shorefyre Fresh Grill & Bar at International Market Place is the open-air anchor on the Grand Lanai, perched above the great banyan tree with a long covered patio that faces Kalakaua Avenue. By day it runs as a relaxed island-style grill serving breakfast, loco moco, and burgers to shoppers; by night the lanai flips into one of Waikiki's loudest weekend party spots. The kitchen leans local: 50/50 Bacon Burger, Garlic Shrimp, Fresh Catch, and Da Kine Margarita in a dozen tropical flavors. Live local musicians play nightly from 5 p.m., and Wednesday through Saturday the room transforms into Fyre by Night, with DJs, dancing, and bottle service from 10 p.m. The crowd skews mid-20s to 40s, a mix of visiting mainlanders, military on liberty, and locals stopping in after work.
"Great open-air spot right in the middle of International Market Place. The food is solid island fare and the band brings the whole patio to life at night."
Happy hour runs Monday through Friday 3–6 p.m. with $7 premium spirits and discounted pupus on the lanai. Live music plays every night from 5 p.m., featuring rotating Hawaiian and island musicians. Wednesday through Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., Fyre by Night takes over with DJs and dancing under the banyan. Order the 50/50 Fyre Burger, the Garlic Shrimp plate, the loco moco, and the Da Kine Margarita in li-hing or lilikoi. Bottle service and reserved lanai tables are available on party nights.
